Hi, my name is Maija, and I am the owner of Velvet Hair Parlour. I have been licensed since 2001, and have worked in many salons in the Vancouver and Camas areas. I specialize in Women’s hair, including precision cutting, Brazilian Blowouts, color correction, balayage, and fashion colors. I continue my education to keep up to date with the newest trends and techniques, and i love to try new things! I have trained with Wella, and Bumble and Bumble. I look at hair like art. I love mixing bright fun colors, painting, texture, and thinking outside the box. When I’m not at the salon, you will most likely find me kickboxing, or hanging out with my husband and son.
